There are several Seed-Exchanges around the Manawatū. The purpose of these is provide free access to seeds for anyone wishing to grow their own food and to house donations of seeds from local growers who wish to share.

We invite donations of seeds for our seed exchanges, seedlings (vegetables and herbs) for planting in community garden projects, and we are a drop-off for clean garden pots in good condition (these go to Tipu Ora Seedlings who only use recycled materials.)
