Are you an advocate for the earth?

The Environment Network Manawatu encourages are members to take part in public consultations, and we write joint submissions on behalf of our members, in consultation with our members. There are currently no open submissions being worked on, but the list below includes recent consultation processes of importance to the regional environment, and an archive of older submissions. ENM has submitted on many of these, and we invited member group input while submissions were being developed. Click on each consultation title to learn more.

Despite disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, consultation on this plan has proceeded via social media, email, and the call centre. Submissions close 5pm 17 May 2020.

This budget is year three of Council's 10 Year Plan 2018-28, which set out the vision: Small city benefits, big city ambition. It’s how they check if they are still on target to deliver on that plan. Submissions closed 20 April 2020.

Submissions closed 29 July, 2019. Palmerston North City Council is consulting on the draft policy for the use of public space.

Submissions closed 5 July, 2019. Palmerston North City Council want to see more people on bikes in our city. The Urban Cycle Network Masterplan outlines how they plan to achieve this.

Submissions closed April 8, 2019. This submission is on behalf of ENM but is also very relevant to the Biodiversity Cluster / Source to Sea. It was good to get feedback from Horowhenua-based member groups in particular.
